Graduate Students
Kelly Rue⚓
Kelly graduated with her bachelors in chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in 2017 where she studied the luminescent properties of lanthanide-containing MOFs under the direction of Dr. Daniel de Lill. She joined the Raptis research group in 2018 and is pursuing a PhD in radiochemistry. She is currently exploring the coordination chemistry and redox activity of rhenium and technetium pyrazolates.
Eduardo Mollinedo⚓
Eddy, a native of Florida, completed his undergraduate studies at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. Eddy is currently pursuing his PhD research in C-H activation and catalytic oxidations using copper pyrazolato complexes in the Raptis group.
Susana Herrera⚓
Susana graduated with a dual degree in chemistry and biological sciences from Florida International University in 2017. She did her undergrad research studies on bio-inspired dinuclear copper oxygenation catalysts under Prof. Raptis. She came back to pursue her PhD in Radiochemistry in 2019. Her current research focus on efforts to sequester closed-shell main group metals and actinide ions by iron oxides complexes.
Zhi-Chun Shi⚓
After receiving research training from Dr. Dan Li's group (Jinan University, Guangzhou, China), Zhi-Chun joined Dr. Raptis' group for studying his doctorate in 2019. He is currently working on the spin-crossover and conductive MOFs based on the Fe and Co pyrazolates.
